B&D Consulting is recruiting a highly qualified legislative, regulatory and political analyst for its growing Energy, Climate & Environment Practice. Candidates will work with colleagues and clients to develop and implement complex government affairs strategies in many public policy arenas, including but not limited to: the Clean Air Act, renewable fuels, next generation vehicles, climate change, taxes and federal funding.

Previous experience must include 1-3 years of substantive work for a committee of jurisdiction, a relevant Federal agency with an energy or environment entity in Washington, D.C. or as an energy/environment legislative staffer. Strong academic background and/or graduate degree preferred. Must thrive in team-oriented, fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. Requirements include excellent writing skills, quick and comprehensive research abilities, and proficiency with the full suite of Microsoft Office applications. Hill or Agency network of contacts preferred, but not required. Salary commensurate with experience.

B&D Consulting is recruiting highly qualified professionals for its growing Health & Life Sciences Consulting Practice. Candidates must have Federal government affairs experience with Congress and the Department of Health and Human Services.

Candidates will work with colleagues and clients to develop and implement government affairs strategies for health policy initiatives in public health, science research, Medicare and Medicaid, FDA, health insurance and health care reform arenas.

Previous experience should include substantive work for a committee of jurisdiction, in a health care agency, with a private-sector health care entity (not-for-profit, manufacturer, provider, or other), or as a health LA. Strong science background and/or graduate degree preferred.
