Professional Experience
Allie D'Accurzio is a specialist in reimbursement issues, including billing and coding. Her primary area of expertise is securing coverage for and appropriate payment of new technology, including routine costs for care provided in medical device clinical trials.
Allie supports her clients by identifying the relevant government and commercial payer contacts and facilitating communication with payers and health care providers to assess and influence the environment for coverage and reimbursement. She responds to coding and reimbursement questions from her clients and their customers. Allie also has significant experience with research and analysis of coverage policies for new and emerging treatments.
Prior to joining B&D Consulting, Allie worked as a medical staff assistant and institutional review board coordinator at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica, N.Y. She coordinated physician credentialing, participated in regulatory reviews and served as a liaison between providers and insurance companies.
